Pilates is a bodyweight only class that concentrates on strengthening and toning the body with an emphasis on core strength and increasing your flexibility.

Similar to yoga, it focusses on posture, balance and flexibility and promotes a strong connection between the mind and body, helping with mindfulness, stress relief and overall well-being.

This is a low impact class that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

What's the difference between pilates and yoga?

While they both develop strength, balance, flexibility, posture and good breathing technique – Pilates exercises are performed in a flow of movement without the static poses you usually find in yoga.  Yoga also has more of an emphasis on relaxation and meditation.
